This sexy looking contraption (well, maybe except the yellow color) is the new Opel Astra GTC Coupe, essentually a sexier and more sport version of the normal four-door Astra hatch back. The Astra GTC coupe looks very much like the the Opel GTC Concept that was shown last fall, which make me happy. Not only does it wear its sporty intentions on the outside, but its has been engineered to be a lot more sporty than the normal Astra, aided by a wider stance, lower wheel base and many performance bits normally found on high-end performance cars, such as High Performance Struts.
It will be available with both diesel and gasoline engines, the most powerful of which is a 1.6 Turbo gasoline unit that 180-hp and a top speed of 136 mph. A high-performance OPC model will debut in 2012. More details can be found by

Believe it or not, but the Astra GTC does not share most exterior elements with its Astra staple mates...
Its interior cockpit, however, looks virtually the same.
