All-new 2012 BMW M5

BMW has officially revealed its all-new 2012 M5, and it looks menacing in a subtle sorta way. Here are some simple specs:

Power: produces 552 horsepower and 501 lb-ft of torque from a twin-turbocharged V8.
Transmission: Standard dual-clutch transmission that delivers power to the rear-wheels
0 to 60 time: 4.4 seconds
Top Speed: Top speed of 155 mph (the optional M-Drivers Package can raise it to 190 mph)
Fuel Economy: 9.9 litres/100 km (28.5 mpg imp) in EU test cycle (as if buyers really care)

Design features include larger front intakes and side vents, 20-inch wheels and Z-rated tires, and four tail pipes on the outside. True to BMW's brand name, you can find some of the latest performance tech on this baby, including the German automaker's M Drive system that allows drivers to store two individual modes for a range of programmable parameters including the accelerator response.

The M5's interior is as austere as the in the standard 5 Series, which isn't a bad thing. It looks clean and attractive.

Overall, I wouldn't mind owning this car. What about you guys? You can find more information on the 2012 BMW M5 by clicking here.
