You read that right -- the Chevy Cruze has officially outsold a leading Japanese compact car, the Toyota Corolla, in April 2010. The Cruze attained a 14.2 percent share in the segment compared to the Corolla's 13.88%. Unfortunately, the Honda Civic, with 15.41 percent share, managed to barely beat GM's compact car. Nevertheless, is this a sign of things to come? Will the Japanese automakers lose their top spots in the coming months? Only time will tell...
