2012 Chevy Camaro Coupe Transformers Special Edition

Don't look so surprised. There is a reason (at least one reason) why the new Camaro is a success. Micheal Bay's Transformers movies have a thing to do with it. GM has released an new Camaro Transformers Special Edition model to commensurate the latest movie, Transformers: Dark of the Moon. This Camaro is suppose to be a non-transformable Bumblebee. Yay...

This special edition Camaro is essentially a $3,000 package that can be had on yellow-painted 2LT and 2SS Camaro models. You can find more details by clicking here.

Chevy Cruze Coupe?

There is a report that claims that GM is developing a two-door version of the popular Chevrolet Cruze. This of course would be smart move by GM, because unlike with hatchbacks, Americans do show interest in coupes. I curious to see how appealing -- aesthetically -- a Cruze Coupe would look.

Video: New Mini Cooper Coupe Driving Action

Still looks awkward, even in motion, but that's just my option. I need practicality in my cars, this car certainly doesn't offer it. Then again Mini, isn't targeting me. I hope it does well.

Mini Cooper Coupe Sports Two Seats

Just look at this abomination...it actually looks decent. This here is Mini's first ever two-seater. It will also be the automaker's fastest model. If Dearth Vadar had a car, the Mini Cooper Coupe -- what that funny-looking helmet of a roof -- would be the comical interpretation of said vehicle.

Engines choices include a 208 horsepower unit, a 181-hp unit and a 121-hp unit. The former two are turbocharged 1.6L engines, while the latter is a naturally-aspirated 1.6L engine.

The interior, aside from having only two seats, looks very similar to the other Mini models.

Look at the dome on that thing...Jesus!

Opel Astra GTC Coupe

This sexy looking contraption (well, maybe except the yellow color) is the new Opel Astra GTC Coupe, essentually a sexier and more sport version of the normal four-door Astra hatch back. The Astra GTC coupe looks very much like the the Opel GTC Concept that was shown last fall, which make me happy. Not only does it wear its sporty intentions on the outside, but its has been engineered to be a lot more sporty than the normal Astra, aided by a wider stance, lower wheel base and many performance bits normally found on high-end performance cars, such as High Performance Struts.

It will be available with both diesel and gasoline engines, the most powerful of which is a 1.6 Turbo gasoline unit that 180-hp and a top speed of 136 mph. A high-performance OPC model will debut in 2012. More details can be found by clicking here.

Believe it or not, but the Astra GTC does not share most exterior elements with its Astra staple mates...

Its interior cockpit, however, looks virtually the same.

BMW 1 Series to be Produced for Only One Year

Get them while they're on sale -- Reports have it that the 2011 BMW will be produced only in 2011. Not only that, but only 1,000 units will be produced. This essentially guarantees that this M1, given that it's the first of its kind, will be a collectors item. The next-generation 1 Series M will come after the release of the next-gen 1 Series.

Buick Getting a Coupe?

If the rumors are true, then a Buick Coupe is on its way. Some leaked documents have confirmed that GM has approved the production of an Opel Insignia-based coupe. Given that the Opel Insignia and Buick Regal are essentially the same vehicles, if Opel gets a coupe, it only makes sense that Buick gets one too, especially if GM is serious about turning Buick into a more youthful brand.

Opel Astra GTC Hatchback Coupe

This hot car is the hatchback version of the European Opel Astra. In North America, we get the sedan version of the Astra in the form of the more conservative Buick Verano sedan. GM is convinces that North Americans do not like hatchbacks. Fortunately, it has been confirmed that Buick will get its own version of the GTC hatchback. Hopefully, GM does not change its design that much. Read more on the Opel Astra GTC....
